About the Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced educators, gaining valuable insights and skills that will enhance your professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals, small groups, and whole class situations under the direction of teachers.
  • Conduct general teaching assistant duties, including administration tasks.
  • Use strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals, in liaison with relevant staff members.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Support the planning of learning activities.
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate, Diploma, or Qualification.
  • At least 6 months' experience in an educational setting, with references available.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply.
