About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Team Administrator to join our Paediatric Psychology Service team in Somerset. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide essential support to our clinical professionals, ensuring the smooth running of our services and maintaining an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage day-to-day correspondence, responding to queries and providing information in a timely and friendly manner.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to gather and coordinate patient information, ensuring timely access to relevant data.
- Report incidents using the Trust's Incident Reporting system.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently, working collaboratively with the secretarial team to meet administrative targets and highlight any issues.
- Compile agendas, type, and circulate minutes for business and audit meetings.

Requirements
- Good standard of general education.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbally, appropriate to the post.
- Previous NHS administration experience and a minimum of 2 years secretarial experience.
- Audio typing/word processing skills and medical audio typing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, and in-house hospital systems.
- Knowledge of patient notes retrieval and medical records procedure.
