Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Palliative Medicine Consultant to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our palliative care services.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist palliative care to patients across Oxfordshire and South Northamptonshire, including those in hospital and community settings. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, provide clinical leadership, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

As a Palliative Medicine Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in a tertiary referral centre and in the community, teaching and mentoring junior doctors, and contributing to the development of our palliative care services. You will also be expected to participate in quality improvement work and contribute to the development of our department's strategic plans.
