Sales Assistant at Tesco

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Hartlepool Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and maintaining stock levels, including receiving and processing deliveries
- Replenishing stock, pricing, and implementing promotions to drive sales and customer engagement
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the toy department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move stock as required
- Basic computer skills and ability to use company systems
