About the Role:

Active Pathways is seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team at Brookhaven, a 23-bedded open-rehabilitation service for adults with enduring mental health needs. This is a fulfilling and varied role, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with individuals to improve their quality of life and achieve their goals.

Brookhaven focuses on inclusion, skill development, risk reduction, and relapse prevention through a robust Recovery and Social Inclusion Programme, which connects residents to leisure activities, educational opportunities, and vocational work schemes.

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to adults with enduring mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments.
  • Administer medication in line with policy and guidelines.
  • Promote recovery and independence through holistic and innovative approaches.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Active PIN and a degree in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Nursing.
  • Experience: Working within mental health or rehabilitation settings, including medication training.
  • Skills: Ability to create care plans, conduct risk assessments, and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with current legislation and the importance of a holistic recovery approach.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £40,032.33 per hour (inclusive of paid breaks).
