Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Phlebotomy experience is essential for this role.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Right to work in the UK.
