About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RMN to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse Specialist in a prison healthcare setting. As an RMN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to offenders with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and promote positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic mental health care, with experience in assessing risk and developing care plans for complex cases. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist mental health care to offenders in a prison setting
  • Assessing risk and developing care plans for complex cases
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and stakeholders

Person Specification:

  • Qualified RMN with experience in forensic mental health care
  • ENB 998 Course or equivalent
  • Ability to assess risk and develop care plans for complex cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
