About the Role:

  • Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Specialist to join our team as a Laptop Rollout Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and configuring laptops, managing devices, providing user support and training, documenting and reporting progress, and traveling to multiple sites across Devon.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Laptop Deployment & Configuration: Deploy and configure laptops for our team members, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are ready for use.
  2. Device Management and Compliance: Manage and maintain device inventory, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  3. User Support and Training: Provide end-user support and training on laptop usage, troubleshooting common issues, and addressing technical queries.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of laptop deployment, configuration, and maintenance, as well as produce regular reports on device performance and usage.
  5. Travel and Site Support: Travel to multiple sites across Devon to provide on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure laptop deployment meets company requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills and experience in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows 11 Proficiency, Networking Basics, Microsoft Office 365, Endpoint Security Management, Customer Service Skills, and Documentation Skills.

Additional Requirements:

A valid driving license is required, as you will need to travel to multiple sites across Devon.
