We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cornwall, working with children and young people who require specialist support. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, and neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an integrated CAMHS team, where you will work closely with SALT, Psychology, nursing, and key working colleagues.

About the Role:

This position involves providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children and young people presenting with co-morbid mental health needs, autism, and neurodiversity. You will be required to work in various locations throughout the county, including areas with limited public transportation access. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and demonstrate how they will manage travel requirements.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to shaping the care of young people in the acute pathway and provide ongoing support through CAMHS key working and locality teams. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that children and young people receive the right help at the right time.

Salary: £35,745 - £43,041 per annum (Band 7)

A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is essential, along with registration with the Health Professions Council. Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and completing specialist courses relevant to children and young people with Autism is desirable.
