Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Chemical and Biological team at our Dalgety Bay office. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling mechanical assemblies, inspecting equipment, and ensuring quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

Dismantle and reassemble mechanical assemblies
Inspect equipment and identify faulty components
Ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures are adhered to
Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment
Assist other disciplines when required

Requirements:

SVQ or City and Guilds qualified
Possess a mechanical understanding and knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Hydrostatic systems
Ability to understand and use schematics and maintenance drawings to analyze, assess, and find faults within these systems
Organized and able to plan a sequence of events to remove and reinstall components within a working system
Capable of self-checking work and possessing high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality, and Health & Safety
Full UK driving license
