Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. Your task will be to produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) present on your CV
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
- Self-aware and focused on professional development
- Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery

Training and Development
