About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will work with individuals to assess how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Your clinical expertise will be utilized to conduct thorough assessments, gathering medical history and performing physical examinations. The resulting reports will be used by the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with individuals
  • Collect and analyze medical history and perform physical examinations
  • Produce concise, accurate reports for the DWP
  • Meet with clients in a sensitive and compassionate manner
Requirements
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT skills and experience with a range of software
