About the Job

We are looking for a Corporate Counsel for AWS Europe to join our team in EMEA. As a Corporate Counsel, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day legal counsel, contributing to projects, negotiating contracts, and addressing vendor issues.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification legal experience, with a minimum of 5+ years post qualification experience. They will possess excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services, or equivalent.

About the Team

You will be working closely with our Data Center Operations team in EMEA, which is responsible for the operation, physical security, maintenance, and logistics of our data centers. Our team is dynamic and rapidly growing, and we are looking for someone who can keep up with our pace and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day legal counsel to our Data Center Operations team in EMEA
  • Contribute to projects, negotiate contracts, and address vendor issues
  • Work closely with business and other stakeholder teams to provide risk-calibrated solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and business partners

What We Offer

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
