Job Title: Aftersales Service Engineer

Veolia Water Technologies, a global leader in water treatment, is seeking a skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our field-based team, you will provide on-site corrective and preventative maintenance, as well as technical and commercial support to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with company and client health and safety policies.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional image at all times.
  3. Develop a flexible approach to meet customer needs and adapt to changing working hours.
  4. Timely reporting to the Service Manager on progress and delays.
  5. Complete and submit risk assessments, work reports, and activity reports in a timely manner.
  6. Identify opportunities to improve client systems and provide quotations for parts, consumables, and plant upgrades.
  7. Regularly update the line manager on any issues that may impact the company financially, reputationally, or operationally.
  8. Carry out commissioning work on standard equipment.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  3. A full UK driving license is required.
  4. Experience in the water industry is an advantage, but not essential.
  5. Knowledge of the Healthcare and Scientific market is desirable.
  6. Previous experience as a Service Engineer or in a Technical Support role is an advantage.
