The ideal candidate will drive performance and efficiency in our repair and maintenance teams, ensuring a timely, cost-effective service for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and coordinate all repair and maintenance jobs for South East Water's East region, ensuring smooth workflow and optimized resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement innovative planning strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Create and monitor performance measures to assess operational effectiveness, job timelines, cost controls, and quality of work.
  • Lead and mentor a planning team of approximately 15 planners, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and high-performance outcomes.
  • Use data analytics to evaluate past performance, predict future needs, and implement data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements include experience in team management, leadership in a planning or operations management role within utilities, water, or a similar industry, and expertise in data-driven decision making using analytical methods to evaluate performance and forecast effectively.
