We are seeking an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our Internal Communications team on a temporary contract basis. The role will be based in the Exeter office, with a minimum of one day per week spent working from there, plus additional ad-hoc days as required.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires providing expert internal communications advice and support to various teams across the Met Office. You will work closely with senior leaders and managers to ensure their communications align with the internal communications principles and are planned strategically.

  • Develop relationships with senior leaders and managers to provide trusted advice on internal communications
  • Support the delivery of key organizational change projects and initiatives
  • Provide expert internal communications advice and support to different teams

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operational running of the internal communications team
  • Monitor channels and respond to enquiries
  • Develop relationships with senior leaders and managers

Requirements:

  • Experience in internal communications and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Arrangements:

  • Based in Exeter office with a minimum of one day per week spent working from there
  • Additional ad-hoc days as required

Salary: £272 per day PAYE
