Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

This role involves supporting the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting resources as necessary.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities for students with special educational needs.
  2. Assist with the implementation of IEPs and adapt resources as necessary.
  3. Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, fostering independence and confidence.
  4. Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the teaching staff.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or special education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £85-95 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
