About the Role

As a member of Anthropic's security department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our AI systems and corporate data with industry standards and regulations. Our rapidly growing team of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders is working together to build beneficial AI systems.

This position requires someone who can drive programs to improve the ease and rigor of our compliance to security controls and standards. You will contribute updates to policies capturing security and AI safety requirements specific to EU customers and support the maintenance of our system of controls through audit, record keeping, and communication.

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our compliance program, including creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our security controls are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and address potential compliance risks and develop corrective actions to mitigate them.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in audit planning, evidence curation, document generation, and other procedures for compliance with industry standard security assessments, such as ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with cloud security capabilities, particularly identity and access management features on AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding of large language models (LLMs) development and deployment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
