Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Program Manager, Compliance with a background in compliance to manage and drive compliance and regulatory projects across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all technology solutions for Viator's point of sale comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage compliance programs and projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, product management, and other teams to interpret and implement compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, primarily in NORAM and EMEA.
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify potential compliance issues and areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports, to support compliance efforts and audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Proactive communication and guidance to teams on compliance-related topics, best practices, and effects on the business.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory environments and update compliance programs accordingly.
  • Support legal as needed with coordinating with third-party auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance audits with reviews and investigations.
  • Track and report on compliance program metrics and performance to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in program management, with a focus on compliance in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent ability to lead by influence.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with compliance tools and software is an advantage.
