Job Title: Care Assistant

Immacolata House Dementia Nursing Home seeks a skilled Care Assistant to provide exceptional care and support for residents living with dementia.

This purpose-built care home offers a unique opportunity to work in a team environment, providing individualized care plans and supporting residents with daily activities.

  • The hourly rate is up to £12.15 + £2 per hour overtime, reflecting the importance of your role in our care home.
  • You will have the flexibility to choose from various shift times (06.45-19.00 or 18.45-07.00) and enjoy paid night shift breaks.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized care plans, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assisting residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, is an essential aspect of this role.
  • Maintaining accurate records of tasks performed is vital to maintaining high standards of care.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Care Assistant is preferred, but transferable skills are highly valued.
  • A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering exceptional service are essential qualities for this role.
  • A strong sense of teamwork, kindness, honesty, compassion, and integrity are necessary for success in this position.
