About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Rail Infrastructure Manager to lead our civil engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of internal and external engineering resources
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • Maintain high levels of quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in rail projects, ideally Network Rail projects
  • Chartered Engineer status or similar professional accreditation
  • Experience in design management services for civil engineering design and construction in the rail sector
  • Senior level involvement in large project tender teams
  • Understanding of commercial aspects including procurement models
  • Experience in managing design processes in tender or contract environments
