We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Ashford, providing at-home complex care services to children and young people. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including tracheostomy management and gastrostomy.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as PEG feeding and oral suctioning.
- Work collaboratively with our team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality care.
- Previous care experience, including personal care, is essential.
- Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your vehicle are essential.
- Competitive pay: £13.31 – £15.97 per hour.
- Bank Holiday pay: £18.15-£26.62 per hour.
- Paid induction, including thorough in-person complex care training.
- Opportunity to work towards a Diploma after your probation period.
