Primary School Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team in Morden, Merton. As a key member of our EYFS setting, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents. You will be passionate about supporting children's learning and development, and committed to delivering high-quality support that meets the individual needs of each pupil.

About the Role

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, incorporating activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of all pupils.
  • Assist with daily routines, including setting up and clearing activities, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants and staff to promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering effective teamwork and open communication.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of £96-108 per annum, paid bi-weekly, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding its employees for their hard work and dedication.
