Vision for Education - Brighton is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils aged 4-11 in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing emotional support and facilitating their learning experience.

The role involves supporting pupils with regulating their emotions and accessing their learning, working effectively in any part of the school to help teaching staff provide excellent support and learning opportunities for children. Key responsibilities include mentoring and engaging with pupils, delivering educational packages, and supporting in class, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis. As an ideal candidate, you will have a Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Early Years Educator qualification, and prior school experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, or challenging behavioural needs.
