We are seeking a dedicated Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Vision for Education - Brighton. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work in a primary school in Seaford to support pupils with regulating their emotions and accessing their learning.

The role involves working in class, small groups, and one-to-one basis using behaviour management skills to assist pupils in overcoming barriers to learning. Pupils aged 4-11 may have EHCPs for Special Educational Needs & Disabilities and/or Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), as well as associated needs such as Autism or ADHD.

The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively across the school to help teaching staff provide excellent support and learning opportunities for our children. The ideal applicant will have a passion for creating engaging ways to support pupils and make school a safe, positive, and enjoyable place to learn.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 2/3 Early Years Educator qualification, ideally with prior experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behavioural needs. You will also need to be able to mentor and engage with pupils, delivering specifically designed educational packages.
