Job Title: Financial Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Wisei Chartered Certified Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently.
  • Prepare VAT returns and manage submissions.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and processing.
  • Support with management accounts and end-of-year financial reports.
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC on financial matters as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (AAT or equivalent) are advantageous.
