About the Role

At Thera East, we are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Relief Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to adults with a learning disability, empowering them to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and emotional support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Help individuals develop new skills and achieve their personal goals and ambitions.
  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as planning and managing their home, leisure activities, and employment.
  • Empower individuals to make informed decisions about their lives, promoting their autonomy and choice.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is:

  • Compassionate and caring, with a strong desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.
  • Excellent communicators, with strong interpersonal and written skills.
  • Self-starters, with a high level of motivation and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willing to undergo training and development to enhance their skills and knowledge.
