Job Overview

Are you a motivated, qualified, and HCPC registered Podiatrist looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team? Do you have excellent clinical and communication skills? If so, we are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

About the Role

As a key member of our Podiatry Service, you will contribute to the development and delivery of care-plans for patients with, or at extreme risk of, active foot disease. This will involve working in in-patient, out-patient, and community settings, as part of a Consultant-led multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver care-plans for patients with complex foot needs
* Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
* Provide high levels of podiatric care, including sharp debridement, offloading, and wound assessments
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure patient-centered care and continuous improvement

Person Specification

* HCPC registered Podiatrist
* BSc Podiatry or equivalent qualification
* Experience in managing complex patients with impaired tissue viability
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
