Site Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Construction division in the Newcastle area. Our client is a leading SME building contractor in the North East, specialising in the construction or refurbishment of new or existing buildings.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to deliver projects from conception to completion. You will report directly to the Head of Construction and be part of a fantastic team that includes working supervisors, Assistant Site Managers, Project Managers, and Contracts Managers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical expertise in Site Management, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing and motivating a team. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians to deliver projects from conception to completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage and motivate a team to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement quality control and continuous improvement processes
  • Utilize relevant software and tools used in project management and documentation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in Site Management
  • Strong technical expertise in Site Management
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in project management and documentation
