Job Summary:
Yorkshire Water is seeking a highly skilled Bioresources Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Bio-Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Bioresources asset strategy, ensuring the successful deployment of Bioresources assets and improving our Totex position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with operations teams to reduce risk across Bioresources assets.
- Accountable for creation of annual Capex investment plans and determination of associated performance.
- Accountable for planning of interventions to achieve Asset Health and Performance Commitment measures.
- Demonstrate benefits to our levels of service and financial value for money.
- Accountable for Operational Asset Management – investigation of performance issues and identification of operational / maintenance / mitigation / intervention actions to achieve required performance.
- Accountable for maintaining key relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Development of proactive plan requirements to ensure asset performance, maintaining performance or targeting hot spot areas or high-risk assets.
- Development of performance feedback KPIs for the plan.
- Accountable for the delivery of a step change and development and promotion of innovation to ensure the delivery of upper quartile performance targets, working closely with Service Delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience of the water industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Asset Management including Risk Management.
- The ability to take a holistic approach to company risk and performance.
- Ability to develop, maintain & leverage value from an extensive internal & external network.
- Continuous improvement of business processes to ensure performance data and asset risk are easily identified.
- Understanding of the key lead indicators for asset performance across the entire asset base.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
