We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team at People Recruit Limited. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, illnesses, or mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Personal Care: Assist clients with all physical and personal needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, hair care, toileting, and soiled clothing, while maintaining client privacy and dignity.
  • Prepare and Serve Meals: Prepare and serve meals and drinks to meet clients' dietary needs and in accordance with appropriate health and hygiene procedures.
  • Encourage Independence: Encourage and support clients in maintaining independence skills and participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Record Progress: Record and monitor client progress and level of functioning on a day-to-day basis, including details of activities, medication, diet, and contact with carers.
  • Comply with Regulations: Comply with Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, and other County policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in the care and support of older people and/or adults with learning disabilities and/or ill adults in a working, voluntary, or family environment.
