Head of Lettings Manager

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Head of Lettings Manager to lead our thriving independent Estate Agency in Keynsham. Our clients have an unrivalled reputation and are seeking a strong leader to drive the growth of their lettings portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and explore innovative ways to increase overall lettings business
  • Attend and instruct lettings valuations
  • Oversee an extensive portfolio of properties ensuring compliance and efficient management
  • Oversight of onboarding new stock
  • Anticipate business needs and adapt accordingly
  • Train and develop your team
  • Support and guide the team to achieve personal and branch key goals
  • Foster a positive culture, motivate and lead your team from the front
  • Review, analyse and improve processes and procedures where necessary to optimise team and branch performance
  • Conduct 1:1's for your team, recognising individual and team achievements
  • Cultivate and nurture long-lasting relationships with landlords and key stakeholders
  • Manage escalation with tenants and landlords
  • Report on profit and loss and forecast
  • Engage in strategic conversations with the wider management team
  • Stay informed and up-to-date on legislation and upcoming changes, ensuring your team is trained and adapting as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Lettings Manager
  • ARLA qualified or equivalent ideally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented
  • Man management experience
  • Proven track record in driving business forward, managing risk, regulation, and generating new business
  • Some Property Management experience essential
  • Knowledge of Vebra Alto ideally
  • Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and legislation
  • Able to motivate, manage, and lead by example
