Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Geography Lead to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for leading our Geography department and inspiring our students to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Geography from KS3 to KS5 and will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our students and staff.

Geography Department

Our Geography department is a vibrant and dynamic team that is passionate about delivering an exciting and interactive educational experience for our students. We host guest speakers and organize trips both domestically and internationally, providing our students with a unique perspective on challenging topics.

We are looking for a Geography Lead who shares our passion for education and is committed to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for our students.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in Geography
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
  • Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
