About the Role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key part in the development of our next generation of Mpac automation machines. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to apply innovative solutions to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mechanical design output through a thorough understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
  • Apply innovative thought to ensure the company's mechanical design services offer maximum value to our customers.
  • Manage workload and schedules to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Ensure design output is in line with the company's standard operating procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate project status to the Technical Manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in software design of industrial automation.
  • Ability to work in an innovative environment and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design.
  • Proficient in the use of 3D design software.
