About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Mpac Lambert. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our next-generation automation machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are commercially viable and meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained in Mechanical or Mechatronic Design Engineering.
  • HNC, HND, or BSC in a relevant engineering discipline and 3 post-graduate design experience.
  • Proficient in the use of 3D design software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Ability to prioritize work within tight timescales.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design.
