About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Green Infrastructure Director, who will be responsible for leading our efforts in sustainability and environmental management.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and environmental management, with experience in developing and implementing carbon management plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive carbon management plan in line with relevant technical standards.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to update life cycle assessments at key project stages and conduct a final 'as-built' assessment at project completion.
  3. Attend site and project meetings to ensure construction aligns with carbon savings and specifications.
  4. Support project-level understanding of environmental requirements and develop mitigations to minimize impacts on the construction program.
  5. Lead the carbon working group to identify opportunities for further reductions and drive the carbon agenda throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Provide regular reports on sustainability issues, meeting minutes, and presentation materials as required.
  7. Update sustainability processes in the project's Integrated Management System.
  8. Maintain a sustainability key risks and issues log for senior leadership reporting.
  9. Hold professional membership in an appropriate environmental body (e.g., MIEMA) and possess the necessary CSCS card type and level.

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including flexible working options, pension scheme, and employee referral scheme.
