Regional Tanker Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Tanker Manager to lead our busy team in the Tanker Services division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, and motivating staff to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate staff to drive performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue across new and existing customers.
- Work closely with the logistics team and head of tanker services to motivate and develop the team to create a customer-focussed approach.
- Manage your own profit centres, influencing aspects of operations such as recruitment and development, purchasing equipment and supplies.
- Travel throughout the region to ensure all depots are running well and cover the driving aspect for sickness and holidays, or where additional resource is required.
- Train new and existing 26t Tanker Drivers on safe delivery of non-potable water and collection of liquid waste.
Requirements:
- Experience working within the Welfare/Waste industry is desirable.
- Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card is preferable, however training can be given.
- Management experience within the hire/service industry is preferable.
- Previous experience and accountability for the profit and loss of business operations.
- An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage customer queries in a professional manner.
