Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Learning Disability CAMHS community team, providing a dedicated service for children and young people with learning disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative and creative approaches to clinical practice, with a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary team working, risk assessment, care planning and safeguarding.
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions with children, young people and their families, and will also provide consultation and training to the team and external agencies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions with children, young people and their families
- Providing consultation and training to the team and external agencies
- Supporting the improvement processes taking place within the service
- Leading the outcome measurement programme and contributing to our evidence base
Experience of working within this specialism would be beneficial, however we also welcome applications from clinicians with strong interest in the area who are working in other specialities with key transferable skills.
