Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Missile Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing solutions to execute customer technical requirements and develop product specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience applying systems engineering practices across the 'V-model' for complex product development, with familiarity with systems engineering tools and modeling languages. Strong relationship-building skills and knowledge of Defence, Military, or aerospace standards and design assurance processes are essential.

The role involves managing verification and validation processes to demonstrate system functionality and performance, as well as collaborating with teams to create innovative solutions for cutting-edge missile technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating customer technical requirements and developing product specifications.
  • Applying systems design and modeling techniques to assess and optimize system behavior.
  • Managing verification and validation processes to demonstrate system functionality and performance.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of missile system design within a diverse engineering team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to apply systems engineering practices across the 'V-model' for complex product development.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering tools (such as DOORS, Rhapsody) and modeling languages (SysML).
  • Experience managing engineering work packages, coordinating efforts with other teams and subject matter experts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with partners, suppliers, and customers.
