A reputable recruitment agency, TTP Recruitment, is currently seeking a Trustee Chair Expert to join a prominent charity's Board of Trustees. As a Trustee Chair Expert, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring effective governance of the charity.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a charity at a time of growth and transformation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the charity's future direction, promoting its values, and championing its mission.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience chairing a Board of Trustees or directors within a voluntary sector organisation. You should possess strong leadership skills and experience operating at a senior strategic level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Board and ensure effective governance.
  • Act as an ambassador for the charity, developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Chair Board meetings, ensuring they are effective and focused on delivering the charity's objectives.
  • Support and appraise the Chief Executive, developing a strong and collaborative relationship.
  • Lead the Board in regularly reviewing the charity's risks, opportunities, and financial health.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a successful track record of achievement in their career. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.

This is a voluntary role requiring approximately one day per month. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel for meetings and events.

Salary and Benefits
