Job Title: Operations Engineer – Nuclear Skills and Capability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of training courses and maintain the training course reserve list.
  • Liaise with delegates to create and monitor invitations and ensure all delegates are security cleared.
  • Gather and archive attendance information, record course completion, and collect course feedback.
  • Generate data for training forecasting and distribute course completion certificates and reading materials.
  • Migrate 'Nuclear Skills' and/or 'Skills for Nuclear' training records into capability toolsets.
  • Support the Project Leader in conducting audits, spot checks, and correlation exercises on the capability toolset and related people tools.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • CIPD or Learning & Development qualification (or equivalent knowledge or experience).
  • Experience with Project Management.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to a training environment.
  • Exposure to Engineering.

About the Nuclear Skills & Capability Team:

The Nuclear Capability team governs our Organisation to maintain Nuclear Safety for the site, ensuring we have the right roles filled by the right people with the right nuclear skills. This role offers great exposure due to the cross-function programmes, and you will have the opportunity to work with Industry Experts. The team will see a significant increase in demand and is anticipated to grow as we continue further into the Dreadnought Build Activities and all future programme needs. We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
