Exams Officer Role at City of Peterborough Academy

As the Exams Officer, you will be responsible for leading the school examinations team and serving as the primary point of contact between the school and examination/awarding bodies. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the SEN Department, Heads of Department, teaching staff, candidates, and parents/guardians to ensure a smooth examination process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with examination/awarding bodies to ensure compliance with regulations and deadlines
  • Manage the examination team and coordinate logistics for exams
  • Provide support and guidance to students, staff, and parents/guardians during the examination period
  • Collaborate with the SEN Department to ensure inclusive examination practices
  • Develop and implement effective examination strategies to promote student success
