As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering improvement projects, collaborating with various departments, and implementing safe systems of work. With a competitive hourly rate of £18, this is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and enhance manufacturing processes.

About the Role:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage improvement projects, from research to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse performance data to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with third-party providers, internal teams, and management to deliver projects effectively.
  • Training & Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and developing team members.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and implement safe systems of work.
  • Process Management: Oversee the introduction of new equipment and processes, including commissioning and condition-based maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Electrical/Mechanical systems or equivalent discipline, or an Engineering Graduate with relevant knowledge.
  • Competence in CAD systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems and quality management systems such as Q-Pulse is advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar engineering role (minimum 5 years for experienced candidates).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £18 per hour.
  • Excellent dayshift working hours of Monday to Thursday 7:45am – 4:15pm.
