Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with our teaching staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery, adapting materials to suit individual student requirements.
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting back to teachers and parents.
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students' individual needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications, such as a Teaching Assistant qualification or SEN training.
