Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Telefonica Tech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the proactive management and support of servers, storage, and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive support and monitoring to our hosted environments
  • Triage and resolve issues raised by customers and internal users
  • Provide second-line support to our RDS environment
  • Deploy and monitor virtual machines on our VMware Hypervisor platforms
Requirements
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities
  • Experience working in a dedicated IT department
  • Understanding of virtualization and backup technologies
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
  • Service Desk software experience
  • Experience working with Blue Light Services
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Technical Skills
  • ITIL v3 foundation or higher
  • VMware deployment of virtual machines
  • Automated patch management using third-party tools
  • Methodical troubleshooting approach and strong attention to detail
  • Active Directory Management
  • Group Policy Management
Working Conditions
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with a rolling shift pattern
  • 1.5 hours of weekend working required on either a Saturday or Sunday, 1 in 3 weeks
  • Must meet our BPSS, Security Clearance, and NPPV3 Clearance requirements
