Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Client Liaison Specialist to join our team at YHB. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships between our Principals and clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage engagements between assigned Principals and clients, ensuring seamless communication and strategic goal alignment.
  • Support multiple Principals in developing and maintaining long-term business relationships.
Technical Expertise & Quality:
  • Maintain and manage Principal's calendar, confirming accurate scheduling of client appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Field and respond to Principal's inbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and maintain confidentiality standards.
  • Act as a central communication hub, providing necessary information to teams and ensuring smooth coordination between Principals and their teams.
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly action items spreadsheets to keep Principals informed of key tasks and deadlines.
  • Liaise with internal departments to address client feedback and adjust service offerings.
  • Communicate with management and clients to ensure engagement readiness.
Tax Department Specific Duties:
  • Ensure effective communication between Principals, clients, and Client Service Coordinators to meet client expectations.
  • Monitor tasks through SafeSend and XCM reports, keeping all relevant parties informed of progress and deadlines.
  • Track 1040 organizers in SafeSend and transition to CSC/SurePrep as required, reaching out to clients for additional inputs when necessary.
  • Provide quarterly tax estimate lists to Client Service Coordinators for distribution/delivery to clients.
  • Cross-train in Tax processes and applications as needed by Tax Lead, Principals, and COO.
  • Participate in self-development activities and work with the circle leader to develop and monitor goals.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of cooperation and teamwork through daily interactions with co-workers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Possesses high integrity and ability to respect confidentiality.
  • Experience with Project Management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
