Customer Service and Sales Support Supervisor

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're seeking a skilled Customer Service and Sales Support Supervisor to join our team at JT Recruit.

As a fast-growing business, we take customer service seriously and are committed to continually improving our efforts to better serve our customers. We're looking for a conscientious and considerate customer service advisor to join our growing sales support team.

The role requires a candidate who is passionate about delivering a high level of service while consistently applying a customer-centric and positive mindset. Our team is a family-run business that specializes in developing a portfolio of composite decking, cladding, and fencing products for both B2B and B2C markets. We're investing heavily to ensure we stay at the forefront of our industry and are seeking motivated salespeople to help achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, delivering a first-class customer service experience.
  2. Coordinate and deliver updates between the sales team, logistics department, and customers, ensuring clear communication both internally and externally.
  3. Be the main point of contact for after-sales queries and customer complaints.
  4. Execute customer resolutions and complaint handling procedures.
  5. Prepare and deliver customer service reports to wider management.
  6. Assist the wider sales team in dealing with end-to-end B2B and B2C sales enquiries.
  7. Liaise with both the sales team and logistics department to ensure order status updates are provided.
  8. Monitor calls between the sales team and customers.
  9. Monitor product, service, and delivery issues, and report these to the wider management team for review.
  10. Perform general ad hoc daily duties/tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Must have experience in the field of customer service at a supervisor level.
  2. Strong communicator who can build lasting relationships and resolve complaints efficiently.
  3. Ability to approach customer complaints and issues with a high degree of empathy.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience working for a building materials business.
  2. Technical knowledge around building materials would be preferred.
  3. Experience using a sales CRM and Sage accounting software.
