We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our pharmacy team as a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to gain valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the dispensing of prescriptions, processing and assembling orders of stock items, and providing daily ward visits to determine the suitability of Patient Own Drugs (PODs). You will also be required to work in a team environment, providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths, English, and one Science subject. You will also need to have customer service experience, team working skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
