We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Dexters. This role will involve maintaining accurate data entry, processing postings, and ensuring stringent checks and safeguards are in place to prevent fraud or deceit.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proven problem-solving, organisational skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups, is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring month-end tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate data entry and processing all postings
  • Supporting management with ad-hoc duties
  • Allocating receipts/payments and processing invoices
  • Preparing and checking weekly payment runs
  • Assisting with busy periods, holiday cover, and other general office duties
