We are seeking an experienced financial accountant to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is based from our Teddington office, allowing flexibility to work from home 3 days a week.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our operations for a £700m+ turnover private equity-backed global business. You'll be involved in various projects, including systems improvements, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), month-end and year-end support, reporting, audit support, and analysis.

You'll collaborate closely with the Group accounting team, our outsourced finance provider, the Group Finance Manager, and the Group Financial Controller, with regular interaction with senior divisional finance team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Closing monthly results and financial year-end
  • Preparing statutory financial documents (IFRS)
  • Participating in accounting projects, such as operational improvement and simplification
  • Working closely with our outsourced finance provider on month-end transactional activities
  • Helping build and maintain uniform financial policies and processes

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed asset accounting, etc.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with IFS is an advantage
